It's beautiful, my halfbad computer can take it, I love the plot so far, I love building and discovering and collecting. The fauna and creatures are well detailed and very interactive(watch out for the cute sea monkeys).I've never played this sort of game before, so it was hard for an hour or so but now it's just fun. I imagine for experienced gamers it will be easier to get a grip of it, but still love the challenge.. UNKNOWN WORLDS PAY ATTENTIONDon't get me wrong. I love This game. I loved the original subnautica, and will play this no matter. My only problem, is that in subnautica, all you know is that you need to go deeper to escape. Sure you may get a PDA or discover a lifepod, but there isn't someone in your ear. Right away in the below zero, your sister offers to pick you up. This completely ruins the isolation of the game. Again, i love subnautica, and will play this whether they change this or not, but it doesn't feel as terrifying knowing that Robin can pick me up.. Yes, its subnautica, buy the first one and play it, enjoy that amazing journey and then buy below zero. Its just that simple. The Devs have already proven and are proving with great games and great polish. Love it!. Everything you would expect from a Subnautica sequel. Of course it's still in development though, so there are tons of serious bugs and performance issues.. I liked the game is not the plot, and its supply and gameplay component. I liked the game I advise everyone!. TL:DR Do I recommend you buy this game? Yes. Do I recommend you play it in its current state for an extended amount of time? No. Just familiarise yourself with it, then retreat and wait till it's finished. The game in its current state is quite light on the content department and it's exactly what you should expect from an Early Access title. You have a lot of areas of the map that are just bare seabed, the interior of the Seatruck cockpit is very low-def, there aren't any creature eggs that I could find, there are some serious lighting issues, if you played this you would know what I am talking about, at certain times a day half your screen is washed out. There are audio bugs such as for example in some places underwater, when you cross them it sounds like you are surfacing from the water, a lot of stuff like this. I have played the game long enough to build a Seatruck and completed a little bit of the story, but I am not going to play it any further, I am going to wait till the game is out and then start fresh. Even the blueprint for the Seatruck needs work, like, 5 Advanced Wiring Kits, seriously? What are we building, a mainframe? The game takes a very different approach story wise. You are no longer stranded on this unknown planet, surviving and hoping to see your home again. You are here with a purpose now. There's quite a lot of dialogue and your character has a voice, which is new. Some may like it some will hate it, it kind of takes away the whole "Outcast" vibe from the game. You don't feel separated and lost to the world that you know, you also don't have this feeling of immediate danger to your survival all the time like, at least I did in the first game. I feel home on this planet now.I want to touch a little on the original game for a second; without spoiling anything, just the thought that, you know you have to eventually leave the planet, but perhaps you don't want to, you can't bring your friends and family and your civilisation over either, because you know full well humanity will harm this world, so you leave to save that world, or perhaps you shouldn't go, destroy what remains of Aurora, stick signal scramblers all over the planet, make sure the Alterra never learns the fate of Aurora and where it crashed. Perhaps you should never do, well, what allows you to leave the planet, instead keep it under quarantine, forever. It's an interesting thought. If you played the original game, you know what I am talking about, if not, what the hay are you doing reading this for? Go play the original and wait till this game is complete.
